The Trade Performance during July-February , 2005-06: Pakistan's exports during July-February 2005-
2006 were US$10.6 billion, which reflects an increase of 19.7 per cent over the corresponding period of 2004
-2005.  These are the best export figures for an eight months period in the history of Pakistan.  The 20 per
cent increase is higher than the 18 per cent target growth target for the year 2005-2006

Pakistan-China Early Harvest Programme:

The Agreement on South Asian Free Trade Area (SAFTA)was signed at Islamabad on 6 January 2004.SAARC Secretariat has to issue a formal Notification regarding its entry into force of SAFTA Agreement with effect from  January 1st, 2006.
